7. SMS & TEXT MESSAGING

This section describes the text messaging program operated by ADHDpreneur LLC.

How You Opt In

Text messages are sent only to individuals who have knowingly and voluntarily opted in to receive them.

The primary way to opt in is through the chat widget located on our website at https://thevibrantbookclub.com/. During a chat interaction, you may voluntarily provide your mobile telephone number and independently select one or both of the following consent checkboxes:

  • Customer care messages. Consent to receive text messages from ADHDpreneur LLC related to your inquiry, including responses to support requests, ticket updates, appointment coordination, and follow-up communications related to an existing inquiry.

  • Promotional messages. Consent to receive text messages from ADHDpreneur LLC containing special offers, discounts, event promotions, and service announcements.

Each checkbox represents a separate and distinct consent. Neither checkbox is preselected. You may opt in to one, both, or neither. Marketing consent is never combined with customer care consent, and neither is required in order to contact us, submit an inquiry, or purchase any product or service.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.

We may also collect SMS consent through other clearly labeled opt-in methods that separately identify ADHDpreneur LLC as the sender and describe the messages you will receive. Where we do so, the same principles described in this section apply.

Message Frequency and Rates

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. For questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

How to Opt Out

You may cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send a single confirmation message and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.

You may also opt out by emailing hello@thevibrantbookclub.com or by calling 385-454-9944.

How to Rejoin

If you opt out and later wish to resume receiving messages, you may sign up again the same way you did initially, through the chat widget at https://thevibrantbookclub.com/, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

How to Get Help

If you experience any issue with our messaging program, reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us directly at hello@thevibrantbookclub.com or 385-454-9944.

Carrier Liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How We Handle Mobile Information

We use your mobile telephone number, consent status, and message content solely to operate the text messaging program you consented to.

We may disclose mobile information to service providers that assist us in delivering text messages on our behalf, including our messaging platform provider, telecommunications carriers, and similar vendors, only to the extent necessary to deliver those messages. These providers are not permitted to use mobile information for their own purposes.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise make available mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent information to any third party for that party's own marketing or promotional purposes, and we do not engage in the sale of leads.

We may retain a record of your opt-in and any subsequent opt-out for as long as necessary to document consent and comply with applicable law.

For events at which minors are permitted, additional consent requirements may apply where required by law.

If you have a specific privacy or safety concern regarding event photography, please contact us before attending an event. Although we may be able to discuss reasonable accommodations, we cannot guarantee that an individual will not appear incidentally in crowd or background photography.

11. ADVERTISING & ANALYTICS

We may use analytics and advertising technologies to understand how people interact with our websites and advertisements.

These technologies may allow us and participating third parties to measure website visits, purchases, event registrations, advertisement performance, and other interactions.

Depending on the services we use, certain information about your website activity may be shared with or processed by advertising and analytics providers.

Some U.S. privacy laws may define certain advertising-related disclosures as "sharing," "targeted advertising," or, in some circumstances, a "sale" of personal information even when no money is exchanged.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide mechanisms for eligible users to exercise applicable opt-out rights.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all advertising and analytics activities described in this section and are never shared with advertising or analytics providers.

12. SOCIAL MEDIA

If you interact with us through social media, we may receive information that you make available through that platform, such as your username, profile information, comments, messages, or other interactions.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights provided by applicable law.

20. DO NOT SELL OR SHARE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION

ADHDpreneur LLC does not sell personal information for money in the traditional sense.

However, certain uses of advertising technologies, cookies, or pixels may constitute a "sale," "sharing," or use for "targeted advertising" under some state privacy laws.

Where applicable law requires us to provide an opt-out mechanism, eligible users may exercise that right through the privacy controls made available on our website or by contacting us at hello@thevibrantbookclub.com.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of children for targeted advertising.

Our websites, event pages, emails, or other communications may contain links to third-party websites or services.

These may include ticketing services, payment processors, venues, vendors, social media platforms, and other third parties.
